Dr. Espinoza’s passion goes beyond mastering dentistry. Aside from delivering superior dentistry to his clients, his passion is to advance the field of dentistry through research and continued education.

Dr. Espinoza is one of those few doctors that also have vast knowledge about the medical science behind tissues, bone structures, and the functions of the human body. He is known to have saved the life of a 23-year-old girl by diagnosing a rare form of oral cancer which was dismissed by many cancer specialists as harmless.

Dr. Espinoza has been trained in several prestigious dental universities in the US, including New York University, University of Pennsylvania, and Texas University. He also has Specialty in Periodontics and Master’s Degree in Oral Implantology.

He also travels throughout the year as guest speaker in several International Dental Conventions. He provides lectures in dental universities for his work on bone stem cell regeneration process and Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (L-PRF), a technique that dramatically decreases the healing time of dental surgeries and implants.

Dr. Espinoza is also an expert translator for some of the top dentists around the world, including US dentists from Penn Dental Medicine University in Philadelphia.

The dentist performs a full mouth evaluation to create a treatment plan during the first appointment. Consultation is always free for Dayo Dental clients. You just have to pay for the cost of an X-ray or CT scan as required.

Consultations normally take 45 minutes to 1 hour. If you need extensive dental work, you can send your Panoramic X-ray for pre-evaluation before you travel to Mexico.

Comprehensive Oral Evaluation, Dental Exam

When a severely decayed tooth can’t be saved, the dentist will need to perform an extraction to remove the decayed tooth. There are two types of extractions – regular and surgical. Wisdom tooth is typically removed using surgical extraction. For full mouth extractions, the oral surgeon performs the procedure with local anesthesia, IV sedation, or general anesthesia.

An Extraction is completed in one day. For full mouth Extractions, you will need an appointment at least 1-2 days before the surgery date to take impressions for temporary dentures.

Periodontal Treatment procedures are necessary if you have gum disease. During this procedure, the Periodontist removes the plaque and infected areas under the gums. There are 2 major types of Periodontal Treatments: Deep Cleaning and Osseous Surgery. With Deep Cleaning, the Periodontist uses instruments to go underneath the gums. With Osseous Surgery, the dentist opens the gums surgically. With both procedures, the Periodontist may use Laser to improve the results. The prices shown here are per quadrant.

Periodontal Treatment procedures typically take one day. For full mouth Periodontal Treatment, the dentist may recommend to split the upper and lower jaw in two separate days.

Open Curettage / Osseous Surgery

Single tooth Dental Implants are used to replace missing teeth. It consists of a titanium post inserted into the bone to act as a root to support a crown. They are also used to anchor a fixed dental bridge.

The procedure is completed within 1-2 days during your first trip. After 4 months when the implant post has integrated into the bone, you go back for the abutment and crown that will be attached to the dental implant post.

A Dental Crown is used to restore a decayed or broken tooth. It goes on top of the tooth. With cosmetic dentistry, crowns are also used to give you a smile makeover. Crowns are completed within approximately 3-5 days. Ten or more crowns may take longer.

Overdentures Supported by Implants are dentures attached to 2-4 dental implants. You can detach the dentures on your own to clean them from time to time. It’s popular alternative to regular dentures.

You stay for approximately 5 days during your first trip. After 6 months when the implants have healed, you go back to get your new dentures attached to the implants.
